Transcription of foreign driving licenses
At a control drive you have „only one chance“!!! If you do not pass the test, the foreign driver’s license will be revoked. The control drive cannot be repeated (Art. 29 Traffic Licensing Ordinance). If you stay away from the control drive without excuse, it is considered as not passed. The authorities must draw your attention to this consequence when ordering the control drive.
After failing the control drive, you can apply for a learner’s permit if you want to be admitted to traffic again as a driver. This means:
- Emergency aid course
- theory test
- Traffic instruction (VKU)
- Driving lessons
- Practical driving test on new driver level
A serious and good preparation is worthwhile in any case!
Umschreibung ausländischer Führerscheine
Die Herausforderung einer Kontrollfahrt besteht darin, dass Du nur „eine Chance hast!!“ Wenn Du die Kontrollfahrt nicht bestehst, wird der ausländische Führerausweis aberkannt. Die Kontrollfahrt kann nicht wiederholt werden (Art. 29 Verkehrszulassungsverordnung).
Bleibst Du der Kontrollfahrt unentschuldigt fern, gilt diese als nicht bestanden. Die Behörde muss bei der Anordnung der Kontrollfahrt auf diese Folge aufmerksam machen.
Nach nicht bestandener Kontrollfahrt kannst Du ein Gesuch um einen Lernfahrausweis stellen, wenn Du wieder als Fahrzeugführerin oder -führer zum Verkehr zugelassen werden willst. Das bedeutet:
- Nothelferkurs
- Theorieprüfung
- Verkehrskundeunterricht (VKU)
- Fahrstunden
- Praktische Führerprüfung auf Neulenker Niveau
